Speech Therapy

Important areas to monitor during treatment are sensory processing disorders and impulsive or disruptive behaviors. A child who exhibits sensory and/or behavioral difficulties can have more trouble learning how to communicate. Their intelligence and abilities can be masked or depressed by their difficulties focusing and staying calm. Speech therapy will be most effective if provided with treatments for their learning disabilities.
